About Dr. Raegan Tuff

Minister. Author. Wellness Guide.

Dr. Raegan A. Tuff is a passionate minister, author, and public health professional committed to supporting wellness across the lifespan. Her work lives at the intersection of faith, public health, and storytelling, focusing on the spiritual, physical, and communal well-being of women.

As a licensed and ordained second-generation minister, Dr. Tuff teaches the transformative power of God’s love and serves as an Assistant Pastor at The Way, The Truth, and The Life Christian Center, Inc. (TWTLCC) in Decatur, Georgia, where she leads Women’s Ministry and equips believers through teaching and discipleship.

 

Dr. Tuff has more than 20 years of experience in public health. Her work focuses on chronic and infectious disease disparities, with emphasis on prevention in areas such as heart disease, obesity, cancer, HIV, and major outbreaks like Zika and Ebola. In addition to numerous public health publications, she contributed a chapter to the Handbook of African American Health: Social and Behavioral Interventions.

Her leadership has been recognized nationally with awards for excellence in information technology, project management, and emergency response. She has also received the Exceptional Georgia Citizens Award and the President’s Volunteer Service Award. In addition, she has been inducted into the Delta Omega Public Health Honor Society and named to the University of Georgia Alumni Association’s Top 40 Under 40.

In addition to ministry and public health work, Dr. Tuff is the author of I Am Sure of This Fact, a faith-based children’s picture book and activity guide that builds God-centered confidence in young girls. 

Dr. Tuff holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health Promotion and Behavior from the University of Georgia College of Public Health, a Master of Public Health (M.P.H) in Social and Behavioral Science from Morehouse School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Furman University in Greenville SC. She is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity (M.Div) from McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA.

In her spare time, the Atlanta native enjoys nature walks with her Labsky, where she finds peace and inspiration. She has a deep love for poetry, music, and creative expression, often spending her free time singing, writing, and exploring new sounds. She also appreciates Black fine art, antique jewelry, and cherishes quality time with her family.
